BIOGRAPHY & ORIGINS
The voice of Triana,
the soul of Granada
Javier Flores, known on stage as “El Indio”, was born in Seville’s Polígono Sur, one of the neighbourhoods with the strongest flamenco tradition in Spain. With deep roots in the purest cante, from an early age he developed a style of his own, shaped by the power of cante jondo and the influence of the great Sevillian masters.
Now based in Granada, he has built a nationally respected career, performing on the most important stages of the flamenco scene. His visceral voice, full of nuance, connects with the audience from the very first moment.
